ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Asha Mukherjee (Dubey) is a Former Professor in Philosophy at the Department of Philosophy and Comparative Religion at Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan, India. She was a Fulbright post-doctoral Fellow at Indiana University, Bloomington during 1984-85.

Dr. Mukherjee has written extensively on theoretical and practical issues in the realm of philosophy, religion and gender. At present she is a member of the Steering Committee, FISP
