ABOUT THE BOOK

This book consists of 61 poems which voices out the various forms of creative, imaginative and real life incidents into words for the readers to enter into the world of literature. This trend was started much before where in the poetry tried to sound like prose and writing in free verse became much popular among the readers and many poets wrote this way.

This anthology is an attempt to popularize the modern poetry yet in a natural and traditional way as it combines the best elements of traditional and modern poetry. Majority of the poems in this anthology is metered and rhymed as per the new formalism form of poetry and some are free versed too as to make it go with the flow. This anthology will definitely be more accessible and easy for the readers to read and enjoy the modern form of poetry of the creative minds.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Dr. U.S. Saranya holds a B.ED, M.A and PhD in English. She is presently placed as Assistant Professor of English in VIT University, Bhopal. She has 66 publications to her credit which includes 2 Books, 3 Scopus, 22 Ebsco, 21 online research papers and 21 conference proceedings. Besides presenting 45 research papers in conferences she has co-convened a workshop in Academic writing and also attended various faculty development programmes and workshops on varied themes of language, literature, culture studies, personality development and soft skills. Her area of specialization includes Interdisciplinary Philosophy and Literature, Subaltern and Gender Studies.
